Virtual and augmented reality models at geo3d.dev/ar on your mobile devices
<p>Geology exploration can be complicated, even when we have enough data… but we never truly have enough, and a lot of imagination is required to see real-world geology in a model. However, you cannot transfer your knowledge and visualization in your mind to anyone else. Fortunately, there’s a solution to make it possible using virtual and augmented reality models! Almost every smartphone today supports these models; just open the page with the models at geo3d.dev/ar on your mobile device, such as an iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone, or tablet, and click on the AR/VR icon to view the virtual reality model on your device. These are real-world, high-quality visualizations produced with my open-source geo3d.dev Python inverse modeling library and visualized using the ParaView and Blender open-source software.</p>
