The hotel was an instant success, and it quickly became a popular destination for celebrities and high-society.</p> <p>The Fontainebleau was known for its lavish parties and its glamorous atmosphere. In the 1960s, it was a popular spot for Rat Pack members Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Peter Lawford.
