The soul of any culture or civilization is the people who actively practice its beliefs and philosophies. It pains to see that once such a rich & thriving civilization, like other ancient civilizations from the South America such as Incas, Aztecs, Nazca etc., today has no active practitioners or followers. Thanks to the European conquest of the South America; specifically the Spanish conquest of the South America in case of Mexico.</p>
<p>The accidental discovery of the American continent by Christopher Columbus in the last decade of 15th century caught the attention of other European monarchies such as the Portuguese, the French etc. By 1517, the Caribbean islands were already under the occupation of the Spanish. That is when Hernan Cortes, Francisco Pizarro etc. turned their focus on to the Mexican mainland.</p>
