Living forever may not work in this universe
<p>Many of us wish we could do something to slow down our aging, live longer, be healthier, never get sick, and never die. The science of longevity research is big business now, with <a href="https://medium.com/the-infinite-universe/science-may-be-close-to-finding-the-fountain-of-youth-f119cac5ba7" rel="noopener">several drugs</a> being studied for their de-aging properties. The viral popularity of multi-millionaire Bryan Johnson’s quest to reverse his aging suggests that many of us, a great many of us in fact, are interested in finding the proverbial fountain of youth.</p>
<p>I admit that with thinning hair and arthritic knee I wouldn’t mind rolling back my own age about 10 years.</p>
<p>If our bodies can be repaired continually, we can be guaranteed to live as long as we want with all the consequences that long life might have on the world.</p>
