Reading “I Kissed Shara Wheeler” in Prague, Czech Republic

<p>I had to grab Casey McQuiston&rsquo;s newest novel as soon as it came out. I&rsquo;ve never been a big fan of romance books-they all come across as too cheesy or unrealistic, and the writing is often lazy and sub-par. Usually I prefer a good romance that&rsquo;s contained in a larger genre or plot.</p> <p>But when I read McQuiston&rsquo;s debut novel,&nbsp;<em>Red White and Royal Blue</em>, in 2019, I&rsquo;d finally found a romance author I liked. Don&rsquo;t get me wrong, it&rsquo;s still cheesy, but in a really great, refreshing way.
