In the novel, people use digital avatars of themselves to explore the online world to escape the harsh reality of their existence.</p>
<p>The biggest hype and publicity for the Metaverse came after Facebook changed their name to Meta and released this <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uvufun6xer8&t=2269s" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">video</a> describing its vision of the Metaverse. The move reflects the company’s push towards such technology.</p>
