Kazuma Pan National Park

Until it was stopped by Covid, Bhejane Trust ran a very successful volunteer project at Sinamatella. We always enjoyed hosting the sort of nice people who would want to come to Zimbabwe and join in our work so it was a pleasure for us to get back into that with Audrey, Cyril, Lulu, Didier, Kelly and Deb who stayed with us in late August through to early September this year. Deb had to leave earlier than the others but the rest of us travelled to Kazuma National Park for the last three days of the visit.

The first day was mostly travelling — from Sinamatella, through Robins sector of Hwange National Park, down to Pandamatenga on the Botswana border then up the border road to Kazuma. Bhejane has recently arranged the building of a large hide/camp shelter at Corner Pan in Kazuma and we were booked to stay there. We’ve stayed there before and it’s great…….
