JJF X KD For Alopecia UK

Kitty Dry was diagnosed with alopecia in March of this year. By June, the majority of Kitty’s hair had fallen out and she had her head shaved. Since then, Kitty has used her voice to spread awareness for alopecia and to normalise female bald heads — and show people how beautiful they are. Through an alopecia diagnosis and a global pandemic, Kitty has also completed an MA in history.

Jack Fenn is a fashion graduate from NUA. Jack works as a designer and an illustrator, and decided he wanted to use his craft to support Kitty in her efforts to raise awareness for alopecia. Jack designed a series of scarves inspired by women with alopecia, using Kitty as his muse. Together, Kitty and Jack have built a powerful collection of pieces, that not only celebrate female baldness but also provide functionality — with the proceeds from the collection going to Alopecia UK.
