Inverting our Universe

You know, Claude, in Mathematics there’s a way to transform one space to another by inverting some dimensions.

An airplane turning upside down is one example of an inversion. What is funny about an inversion is that when we invert everything changes. That is, everything looks different. But, nothing actually changed. When an airplane inverts itself and starts flying upside down, the Universe didn’t change a damned bit. But to the pilot and all the passengers, it feels like their whole world just turned upside down.

Now, that’s funny to me. A clear example of how our perceptions can fool us.
