Science is commanding nature.</p> <p>Humans weren&rsquo;t the first to do that. Pre-humans were. Science is older than the human species. How could we possibly know anything about what they did back then?</p> <p>One source of information from recent prehistory comes in the form of oral histories passed down through the centuries. Oral histories are problematic in terms of reliability.
