Lisong Hot Spring 栗松溫泉 – Bathing in the hot spring against the emerald wall
<p><strong>Where is it:</strong> Taitung. It’s hard to explain the exact location. <p><strong>How to get to the trailhead from Taipei:</strong> Get yourself down to Taitung. Rent a car and drive up to Guanshan (關山) and connect to Southern Cross-Island Highway (南橫公路). The total driving time from Taitung is around 2.5 hours. The last few kilometers are very tiny and steep mountain road. It is almost impossible for cars to pass. The parking spaces at the trail head are very limited too. I’d highly recommend to walk from the main road if you’re visiting on the weekends.</p>
