The heroes of DC begin to gather the Chosen with more death and destruction in their wake!

If the previous week’s Blue Beetle was any indication, DC wasn’t afraid to senselessly kill off their new characters for this crossover. We open with the Manhunters gathered to discuss their current plans against the immortals, the heroes, and the Chosen, with a plan to attack each of the Chosen now. The Grandmaster declares their victory in Salima Branizar’s death (in the aforementioned Blue Beetle) even if some of his faithful understand they have nothing to do with it. Meanwhile, smarter Manhunters are wielding their influence over the public, buying off a newswoman to cast doubt on any stories against them and in favor of the Guardians.
