Goldilocks News Stories: Not too hard, not too soft; just right

<p>Some of my responsibilities while working a day job in a church office in Louisville, KY were to open the front door, greet visitors, and answer the phone. As it happened, many of those visitors and callers were unhoused and unemployed people who lived (unhoused or not) in the neighborhood in which the church stood.</p> <p>Over the months, I began to notice that more and more people were calling and coming to the door with their stories of destitution. I heard stories about homeless camps where residents became family, where residents were robbed and assaulted, and where, eventually, the police came and took away their tents and possessions, forcing them to move on.
