Feminism and Men: Let’s get back to the basics
<p>A quick surface level google of feminism will give a definition along the lines of advocating for women’s rights and equality between the sexes. The history of feminism dates back to medieval times, before anyone even thought of the phrase “equality of the sexes”; it was just unthinkable.</p>
<p>In as recent as the late 20th century, women did not have the right to vote nor be elected into any office. Prior to this women were solemn allowed a personal life outside of the home and even married women could not control their own children without permission from their husbands. It gets even worse: in medieval Europe were women were not allowed an education, a job, a social life, were compelled to cover themselves in public and could be sold as property by their husbands</p>
