Dodgers’ Opening Day roster includes a large group of new faces

The Dodgers historic Opening Day in Korea includes a roster with seven players who did not play a game for the team last year — led by Shohei Ohtani.

That’s the obvious name, but the 26-man roster for Wednesday’s season opener also includes one not-so-obvious name in rookie Landon Knack.

The right-handed pitcher and №14 prospect, as ranked by MLB.com, will be making his Major League debut if he enters a contest during the two-game Seoul Series. Knack ranked sixth in ERA (2.51) in the Minor Leagues last season among all pitchers with at least 100 innings pitched.
