Developer life: relocating to the Netherlands
<p>Moving to a new country is always a bit scary. There are unfamiliar bureaucratic processes to deal with, different cultural norms and behaviour to learn and you have to figure out a new way of getting around.</p>
<p>To offer a helping hand, there’s Miriam. She made the whole process really smooth. Even when I was still in Egypt, she asked me to send the necessary papers and she did the hard work. All I had to do was make an appointment at the Dutch embassy in Egypt to collect my long-stay visa (MVV).</p>
