Community Update (Week 20/2023)

<p><strong>Scale By the Bay (SBTB)</strong>&nbsp;is a community conference for developers and global leaders in data, operations, ML, and the art and craft of software engineering. The 10th Anniversary SBTB will take place November 13&ndash;15, 2023 in Oakland, CA. New this year, an &ldquo;Accelerate by the Bay&ldquo; track focused on accelerating science through open source.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.scale.bythebay.io/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Call for proposals now open!</a></p> <p>The&nbsp;<strong>OSSci Reproducible Science IG</strong>&nbsp;is set to launch in June. Reproducibility is key to research integrity. However, there are many challenges, particularly when it comes to research that relies on software and data.
