Colu in the community — Hugging the babies who need it the most
<p>Last weekend, Colu was delighted to give a helping hand to a remarkable organisation making a real difference to the community. <a href="http://tinokot.org.il/en/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">First Hug</a> is a charity dedicated to helping the hundreds of babies abandoned at hospitals in Israel every year.</p>
<p>Many of these babies have complex medical conditions and face a long spell in hospital. Sadly, they don’t have the devoted care of a mother or father. That is where First Hug comes in. Their network of highly trained volunteers gives these newborns the human contact and warm embrace that is so crucial to their recovery and development. Volunteers come and care for these babies each and every day, often for months, ensuring that they start life surrounded by love.</p>
