8 Things to Do in Lisbon: A Guide to Exploring the Capital of Portugal
<p>First, I came to Lisbon in November 2022 to attend the <a href="https://websummit.com/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">WebSummit</a>, one of the biggest marketing events in Europe. I came with absolutely zero expectations… and I got blown away!</p>
<p>I did not know what to expect whatsoever, did no research, and have never been to Portugal before. Little did I know when I arrived, that I would <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@viviennebenitz/video/7170780755524734214?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7182151349038007813" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">fall in love with this city</a>.</p>
<p>As a digital nomad, I want to be able to work remotely and travel the world. I have a list of criteria for where I want to go and what I need from that city. For me, safety is at the top of the list; if I’m going to be working from home and traveling frequently, it has to be safe.</p>
