Cost of living in Cancun

Our utilities are lower than we expected. We thought we would be crushed by electricity prices but we are comfortable with just the ceiling fans, while the AC only runs about 2–3 hours a day in the middle of the day). So 206 pesos for one month of electricity (about $12 USD), water was 367 pesos because we 3 had guests for over a week — should be about 250 pesos for us (aka $14 USD). Gas was 134 pesos ($8 USD) and internet 549 pesos ($31 USD). Total 1,139 pesos or $65 USD. We expect this to increase some during the summer months when the heat will make us use more AC, but during the winter time it will go down — the yearly average should not go higher than say 1,500 pesos or $85 USD.
