Insights from BSides Vancouver 2023: Cybersecurity Professionals Unite!

I attended my first BSides event in Vancouver, and it was truly a great experience for me. According to the statistics provided by the organizing committee, the event brought together over 500 security professionals. It offered 4 tracks that covered different areas of cybersecurity such as AppSec, WebSec, Mobile AppSec, Cloud Security, Malware, Ransomware, etc., and 3 workshops over 2 days. The Mainland Advanced Research Society (MARS) team, led by Mark Cohen, did an excellent job organizing the event, and I could tell that a lot of hard work went into it.
