<p>This isn’t the first time we’ve noticed such commentary on a South Asian woman with a loving partner — who happened to be of a different race. Two of my favorite Indian beauty gurus, <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@beautybysonalii" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Sonali Khannaa</a> and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/glow_bymonica/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Monica Ravichandran</a>, are often targeted over the race of their partners, both white men.</p>
<p>On the opposite end of the spectrum are scores of South Asian women pointing out that these angry South Asian men are simply “jealous” that she “bagged” a white man. As though having a white partner as a non-white…</p>
