<p>In today’s world, the term “privilege” has become a widely discussed topic, often associated with race and skin color. While it is true that certain groups of people have historically benefited from different forms of privilege, it is essential to recognize that privilege is multi-faceted and not always defined by one’s physical appearance. As a light-skinned, feminine gay male of mixed Puerto Rican and white descent, I have found myself at the center of assumptions and misconceptions about my experiences with white privilege.
