I’m going to let you in on a secret. Even the most self-assured people feel nervous sometimes.
However, they’ve made an art of acting confident.
So, how can you fake confidence until it becomes real? And, make your shyness a thing of the past.
Do you hesitate going to a party or speaking up in a meeting?
Shyness holds you back from being your best self…right?
I’ve been there.
Here are some tips that helped me go from being a somewhat shy person to believing in myself.
Now, I appear a lot more confident, even when I’m feeling nervous on the inside.
More than once, I faced my fears head-on.
And, yes. It’s easier said than done. But, I learned that avoiding things that made me nervous made my anxiety worse.
With practice, I put myself out there, socially and in meetings at work. And, I gained more confidence with almost every experience.
