Fake It 'til You Make It! How To Act Confident and Become Confident

<p>I’m going to let you in on a secret. Even the most self-assured people feel nervous sometimes.</p>
<p>However, they’ve made an art of acting confident.</p>
<p>So, how can you fake confidence until it becomes real? And, make your shyness a thing of the past.</p>
<p>Do you hesitate going to a party or speaking up in a meeting?</p>
<p>Shyness holds you back from being your best self…right?</p>
<p>I’ve been there.</p>
<p>Here are some tips that helped me go from being a somewhat shy person to believing in myself.</p>
<p>Now, I appear a lot more confident, even when I’m feeling nervous on the inside.</p>
<p>More than once, I faced my fears head-on.</p>
<p>And, yes. It’s easier said than done. But, I learned that avoiding things that made me nervous made my anxiety worse.</p>
<p>With practice, I put myself out there, socially and in meetings at work. And, I gained more confidence with almost every experience.</p>
