BEHIND THE BOOK — PROBABILITY — CAUSALITY #2 — AUTHOR’S NOTE
<p>When I wrote “Causality”, I thought it was a stand-alone story. I thought it was the <em>end</em> of the story. But that isn’t how a writer’s mind works. Paraphrasing several great writers: <em>A story is never finished, only abandoned.</em> I suppose I wasn’t ready to abandon “Causality”.</p>
<p>As soon as “Causality” had been released, the storyline for “Probabilty” quickly came to me, and I wrote the entire story in January 2013.</p>
<p>After some required ruminations, percolations, and self-editing, I was happy with the manuscript, and eager to put it out into the universe. It was released in February 2013.</p>
