<h2>Introduction</h2> <p>I am guessing that few football fans in the United States would be familiar with the Mulock Cup, first awarded in 1894, as the oldest, continuously awarded trophy in the history of American football. I was a member of the 1953 Mulock Cup Champions. I use the term &ldquo;American&ldquo; in its broadest geographical sense, to include the entire continent, which many United States residents often forget, includes Canada.
