The most mouthwatering hummus I ate was in Hakosem (€10–€17) and Mashawsha (€5-€10). Its silky texture, perfect amount of spices, and the softest of all falafels accompanying the salad made them the winners. Second place goes to Shlomo & Doron (around €10) whose convenient location close to Carmel market makes it a great stop after heavy souvenir shopping. For comparison, Hummus Abu Hassan, and Hummus HaCarmel cost around €5.
