This is a true story, but I have changed the names for privacy reasons.
When I watch the TV news, I tune into a certain Southern California channel. Let’s call it Channel Z.
Channel Z has a bigger budget than its local competitors.
The station’s vans zip all over Southern California 24/7. If there’s a breaking news story, you’ll check Channel Z to see what’s up.
Channel Z’s news anchors wear expensive designer suits. (High-end retailers probably loan the station nice clothes in exchange for free advertising, but still.)
The news team has professional pizzazz. Big, dazzling smiles on famous faces.
