Rick Doblin: Rick Doblin is the founder and executive director of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). While MAPS is a non-profit, it also has a for-profit benefit corporation and conducts research into the therapeutic uses of psychedelics, particularly MDMA. Rick Doblin and his organization are prominent advocates for the legalization of MDMA for medical purposes. Doblin has helped change the narrative in mainstream media and culture to recognize the therapeutic ability of MDMA to help people struggling with PTSD and c-PTSD, particularly veterans.
