You’re in Miami. Alone. Having a bad morning. There are 3 days left before you fly home. What do you do?
The way I saw it, I had two options. One, mope around, or two feel my feelings and keep living life. At this point, I was already over a week into my solo trip and having an amazing time. I decided that before figuring out how I wanted to spend the day, I would take a moment, get myself some breakfast and look out at the beautiful blue ocean. Eventually, after some sunshine and an iced coffee, I chose option two. I wasn’t going to let anything stop me from trying to enjoy the rest of this trip. I told myself I would make the most of it, be open to adventure, and who knows, maybe even make a friend or two along the way.
