Hi there, my name is Amy Grech. I’m 51-years-old. I’m a prolific crime/horror author/poet. I discovered Stephen King’s novels at the impressionable age of 12. I’ve published over 100 stories to various anthologies and magazines. Alien Buddha Press published my poetry chapbook, A Shadow of Your Former Self.
I have a twin brother named Andrew. We were raised on Long Island. He still lives in the tiny town where we grew up with his wife Denise. I lived in Brooklyn for over 25 years but was waylaid on Long Island for two years during the pandemic. I got lots of writing done while stranded in the suburbs — I don’t drive, and all my friends were in New York City. I took the long road home — I lucked out on an over-sized studio in a Forest Hills co-op, where I live with two cats, Chester, an orange tabby, and Sabrina, a silver tabby. They’re good company, though, now that I’m back in New York City, I’m usually out with friends.
