Experiencing the seasons in different parts of the world and seeing how people react to them can be an interesting window into human nature, and not only when comparing areas of opposite extreme climates. The psychological effects and cultural impacts of rain and sunshine in the Pacific Northwest of the Americas, for instance, are incredibly different from those in the tropical South Atlantic.
