Lincoln University of Missouri is an HBCU. An administrator’s death by suicide was allegedly a result of her being harassed and bullied by the president of the university. She was vice president of student affairs and a university alum. There are calls for the president’s resignation.
The woman administrator is Black. She started working at Lincoln University in May 2023. She received a termination letter on January 3, 2024. The letter said she was being terminated for cause, including insubordination because of conduct with ineligible students receiving work and housing.
