When I started my Mechanical Engineering, I dreamt to be working in a Tesla kind of company- An Automobile designer designing the most lucrative laminar cars in the world or heading the entire shop floor of an automobile plant!
Little did I know that toppers from IITs and NITs were also struggling to get my dream job! And here I was from a Tier 2 college! Another problem during placements was with a batch of 120 students passing out, there were hardly any chances of breaking out into good company immediately after graduation!
I researched the companies and profiles with average monthly salary and concluded that Sales would be a good choice to go ahead given the compensation one earns working in Sales. It was quite disturbing for me as a whole throughout the engineering my focus was to avoid KTs to be a top candidate for placements, but Sales required no grades.
