So what do I mean by the title? Well, I suppose we can start with the black women, but first and foremost, one thing I’ve noticed about the black community is that we can be more superficial and more blatant about it in general (perhaps I’ll make an article on that in time). So when I am on predominantly black groups on Facebook, etc. (especially if it is filled with a lot of younger people), it’s not uncommon to hear a lot of them being quick to call someone ugly and it’s not uncommon for a lot of black women to say plainly that they don’t want an ugly man or a short man, but they want one who looks good, who is tall, who makes a certain amount, who “has swag”, might be a little hood, but is sweet to them, etc. And before anyone tries to come for me to say that white people do that too, yes, I know this. It’s just that it feels like I’ve seen more white people at least claim that it’s not all about looks, height, money, etc., but I have also seen some Black people who didn’t seem to be too superficial either, so there are exceptions.
