This bookstore is an artfully designed complex that also includes cafés, lounges, and a bakery. No need to go on a café hunt. Hooray!
The bookstore itself is a beautiful space for both casual readers and serious collectors.
I found the English section to be quite impressive and often spent the entire afternoon there.
The closest station is Daikanyama however, if you are visiting during cherry blossom season I highly recommend walking the 10 minutes or so from Naka-Meguro Station and crossing Sakura Bridge.
It’s a lovely walk that will add that little extra something to the beginning or end of your outing.
