Is Stress Still Taboo At Work? 6 Reasons Why We Should Be Open About It

I recently recovered from burnout. Reflecting on that time, I realise I’ve been stupid. A few of you might have had similar experiences.

I was supervising two teams. I was also responsible for the design of software, including challenging stakeholder management. Then I took on an additional role, as Diversity & Inclusion Officer.

On top of that, and with top priority, I was working hard on what I care most about: helping our political, and corporate environment become more design and human-centred.

I had all these responsibilities in parallel. Not even because of ambition. I’m not driven by status or promotions.

I believe in Human Centred Design and was trying to put this on the map. This is really important to me. I did all the other things because I thought that it was the right thing to do for the organization.
