One of the worst things narcissists do is fucking up people’s sense of reality.
Most people come out of a relationship with a narcissist, not knowing left from right.
Which is caused by second guessing themselves for years.
And that was caused by the narcissist gaslighting them for years.
When you stop trusting your own judgement, which is exactly what happens if you listen to a narcissist for too long, you stop understanding reality.
When you lean on the narcissist to decide for you what reality is, you'll be living in a warped reality.
Subsequently, you’ll stop understanding actual reality.
Then, coming out of that relationship, your sense of reality is complete fucked.
People come out of there with their mental state deteriorated to the point that they start thinking everyone is a narcissist.
And there’s people that think that they themselves are a narcissist.
Or people that just went completely paranoid and think that the narcissist is following them or out to kill them.
