It appears people only see what they want to see, which is that ezlink cards are getting nerfed. The messaging definitely needs work, but the gist of the ads and notices is that they want users to shift to contactless payment, with the same Visa/Mastercard/NETS ATM cards and Apple/Google Pay service...
