The messaging definitely needs work, but the gist of the ads and notices is that they want users to shift to contactless payment, with the same Visa/Mastercard/NETS ATM cards and Apple/Google Pay services people already use in everyday life to pay at retail outlets and top up cashcards. You can use these cards everywhere, compared to the limited <a href="https://www.ezlink.com.sg/where-to-use/shopping-retail/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">acceptance of ez-link</a>.</p>
<p>Yet, the appeal of contactless has not reached some, who assume that a new way to do the same thing with added inconveniences is a bad thing. Perhaps there are ways to make contactless payment better, even if those users will likely never be won over. They will have to do a new thing a new way, after all, and as any corporate IT person who’ve had to roll out new systems know, that’s always a hard pill to swallow.</p>
