A.I. Will Replace You — If You Think Otherwise Then You’re Delusional.

Horse: “What? Mechanical Circles? They’ll never replace us. We are the only method of transportation.”

Elevator Person: “What? Buttons? They’ll never replace us.”

Calculator: “What? Computer? It’ll never replace me.”

Travel Agencies: “Tourists will always need us to tell them where to go. Our job is irreplaceable.”

Taxi: “What? Uber? It’ll never come close to replacing us”

Amazon Driver: “What? Drones? They’ll never replace us.”

Artists: “Nope. I’m sorry. Our art will always be on top. We will never be replaced.”

You: “I’m sorry AL, say what you want to say, but my job can not be replaced with A.I.”

I’ve been reading a book — “The Future of Professions by Daniel and Richard Susskind.” It’s a bit dull at the beginning, but it’s getting better. Yet, the interesting aspect of it is that it was released in 2015. This made me think, “Wait. Did they foresee the whole ChatGPT bonanza coming up?”

But then I realized that A.I. is quite an old concept. It’s older than most of the people reading this article. So they didn’t foresee that A.I. will replace many major professions. It’s just simply logical.

I’ve spoken with many about this. Interestingly, almost 8 out of 10 people I asked think that their job is too precious to be replaced by a machine. They’d say that A.I. could help, but it won’t replace their jobs.
