How do we know that the Witness Service is working?

We give all witnesses who have received support from us the opportunity to fill in our Witness Experience Survey after they’ve given evidence. It gives them the opportunity to tell us whether we met their needs, and how they felt about their overall experience with us. We use the responses to tweak our processes at a local level, make bigger changes nationally, and advocate for witnesses’ needs across the criminal justice system.
