<p>Haven’t written here in a while, so anyone still following and reading this, thank you for your immense patience. To say the least, the past year’s events have not only exhausted me but filled me with a sense of impending dread. It is my considered opinion any sane person would agree. Given that, I shall try to do better.</p>
<p>Suppose you have managed not to pay attention for the past two years. In that case, you may not have noticed that the situation in the US concerning our behavior towards one another has gone from bad to worse — the once Grand Old Party has become the party of Fascism; a particular element of our fellow citizens outright hates the majority of their fellow citizens; Anti-Semitism is on the rise; outright racism is on the rise; gun violence has become the number one killer of children; disinformation and misinformation now dominate the media landscape.</p>
