What I Liked About Vietnamese Culture As A Tourist

Vietnamese culture is influenced by Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. Families are highly valued, and the elders are given a lot of reverence and respect.

Vietnam has a rich tradition of ancestor worship, with families offering prayers to their ancestors on special holidays.

There are some special features of Vietnam that I wish to highlight.

Architecture

The architecture of Vietnam depicts its culture, history, and tradition.

The materials that they use the shapes, lines, curves, and colors are unique masterpieces.

Vietnamese architecture consists of extravagant palaces that are influenced by French culture and the Pagodas and Buddhas by the Buddhist culture.

The Pagodas are completely Buddhist and are not influenced by French Art.

If you look at the architecture above you will see the intricacy and beauty of the Pagodas. They are very oriental.

They are angular with curves and arches. The arches are just perfect to house the Buddhas

I was stunned by the multiple tiers. The wood carving, painting, and stone sculpture are stunning.

I looked at all the angles and this was the best picture I could get of the whole pagoda.
