Wearing Color with Confidence

<p>Why must we even need to build the confidence to wear color? I think this question warrants a deeper exploration. In years past, the prevailing trends in the fashion world circulated around the &ldquo;clean girl&rdquo; aesthetic, emphasizing essentials in basic colors. What I noticed with this trend was the absence of colorful options that influencers and fashionistas promoted. There was a big push for neutral colors, and the whole vibe was presented as polished and quiet. This didn&rsquo;t leave much room for creativity, as everyone was trying to replicate this refined style. Inherently, this caused girls to purchase specific clothing in neutral colors to conform to this trend. I also think about the corporate world wardrobe &ldquo;norms.&rdquo; Practically every professor I have had in the states has told me that you should not wear a colorful&hellip;well anything, when interviewing for a job. I have never understood this. To me, this is complete confinement of fashion freedom. An interview is meant to showcase your personality, and a substantial part of a person&rsquo;s personality is how they choose to present themselves.
