Watery Miami — Welcome to Shoal Point

The current is ripping through the high tide in the mangrove hammocks of Biscayne Bay, and the sky is a million tiny Vikings charging at me in a war horde. They’re hitting me and falling in the ocean one fat seabound tear drop at a time smashing Earth from Valhalla itself in the form of cold wet rain. I’m in a vicious storm. Twelve-foot crashers threatening me with sharkfaced boulders of coral rock and limestone. Rocks that have killed unlucky sailors with impunity for centuries. Leaving blood in their waves and a feast for creatures on the hunt.
