Visualizing Happiness: A Data-Driven Exploration

<p>Hey! I&rsquo;m&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/qingyue-li/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Qingyue</a>, an information designer with a passion for data visualization, especially in the field of geospatial systems. Currently, I harness my creativity as a UX/UI designer at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.esri.com/en-us/home" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Esri</a>, a leading company in the geographical information systems (GIS) industry. When I step away from my professional persona, you can often find me immersed in yoga classes with sound baths or engaging in HIIT training. These seemingly diverse interests beautifully interweave, shaping my unique perspective on design and life.</p> <p>Earlier this year, my collaborator&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/enrique-mendoza-t-4b2a14173/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Enrique Mendoza T</a>&nbsp;and I submitted our poster &ldquo;<strong>Happy People, Happy Planet?</strong>&rdquo; to the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.worldgovernmentsummit.org/awards/world-data-visualization-prize" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">World Data Visualization Award</a>. To our delight, we&nbsp;<a href="https://www.worldgovernmentsummit.org/awards/world-data-visualization-prize" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">won the third prize</a>&nbsp;in the poster category. Our winning project delves into the theme of &ldquo;sustainable happiness&rdquo;. In the poster, we used a variety of charts, diagrams, and a map to examine the correlation between human happiness and environmental resource consumption.</p> <p><a href="https://medium.com/make-your-data-speak/visualizing-happiness-a-data-driven-exploration-6f775188bc5b"><strong>Click Here</strong></a></p>
