What kind of village culture is it to pour cow dung over a woman?
<p>The last couple of weeks I have been exposed to the terribly ghastly promos of a terrible ghastly Marathi show called <em>Jau Bai Gavat (Let us go to the village)</em>. This show takes city girls (pampered and entitled as per the promos) to a village and makes them slog and sweat labouring over waking up early morning, working in the fields, milking cows, making cow-dung cakes etc. All this to purportedly show them village <em>sanskruti </em>(culture). Yesterday I was aghast to see a promo where cowdung is being poured all over the contestants! WTF!</p>
