Vasu Baras : First day of Diwali
<p>Diwali is the biggest festival in India and today is the first day of Diwali, called Vasu Baras. This day is 12th day of Hindu month Ashwin .also called as Dwadashi in Krishna paksha. Vasu Baras is dedicated to cows and calves. They are worshipped and said thank you for their existence in human lives. According to Hindu Vedic mythology, cows are very sacred and worshipped in all over India for many reasons throughout the country.. For Hindus, cows are mothers who give milk and cow milk is supposed to be very healthy and full of essential vitamins and minerals. Even if sometimes a newborn baby doesn’t get enough mother’s breast milk , they are fed with cow’s milk in proportion. It is said to be better and natural than packaged products.</p>
