Donating to Charity in a Unique Way
<p>They’re taking applications for next year’s intake of the Board Observership program! The program facilitates a way to donate your most valuable asset — <strong>your time</strong>. If you’re between the ages of 25 and 40 and based in Sydney or Melbourne you should definitely apply.</p>

<p>So far I’m half way through my year of observing a not-for-profit board and it has included training delivered by the <a href="https://aicd.companydirectors.com.au/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Australian Institute of Company Directors</a> with other observers from all different industries and skillsets. Topics of the formal training were: Duties and Responsibilities, Finance, Risk, Strategy and Ethics. We moved to remote learning fairly soon into the program, but that didn’t really impact the content to be learned.</p>
